Having navigated the publishing world firsthand, he created Book Collection by Torthell to offer authors something rare: Transparency. Ownership. Professional excellence. Long-term vision.
Book Collection by Torthell was founded by Torthell Robinson — U.S. Air Force
veteran, storyteller, and Amazon bestselling author.
Enlisting at just 17 and serving in Iraq and Kyrgyzstan, his military experience forged the discipline, resilience, and leadership that now shape the foundation of this publishing house.
After transitioning from military service, Torthell pursued storytelling with intention — studying film and narrative craft in Los Angeles and writing across genres ranging from a military appreciation children’s book to authentic urban fiction.
